International Days of Science & Mathematics
A Colourful Educational Calendar for Students, Teachers and Curious Minds
Explore important days, discover scientific achievements and understand their importance to our world.
🌟 Why Do We Celebrate International Days?
International days draw attention to important ideas, discoveries and challenges. They encourage people to learn, share knowledge, work together and take action. Science days inspire curiosity; mathematics days show how numbers, patterns and logical thinking help us understand the world.
Schools can celebrate these occasions through experiments, quizzes, mathematics puzzles, science exhibitions, speeches, projects and classroom discussions.

📌 Important Note About Dates
This calendar includes official international observances, selected national observances and popular educational celebrations. These are not all the same status. Some dates, such as World Space Week, cover several days. The themes of certain observances change each year. Always check the relevant official organisation for current-year themes and events.
In India, National Science Day is celebrated on 28 February to commemorate C. V. Raman's discovery of the Raman Effect. Pi Day and the International Day of Mathematics are both observed on 14 March.
