A complete MS EXCEL TUTORIAL

Microsoft Excel is a powerful spreadsheet application developed by Microsoft. It is part of the Microsoft Office suite of productivity software and is widely used for tasks involving data analysis, calculation, visualization, and organization. lMicrosoft Excel is a versatile application that serves as a go-to tool for professionals, students, and individuals who need to manage and analyze data efficiently.



 Shortcut keys

  1. Ctrl + C: Copy selected cells. Example: Select a cell or range of cells, press Ctrl + C, then paste the content using Ctrl + V.

  2. Ctrl + V: Paste copied cells. Example: After copying a cell using Ctrl + C, press Ctrl + V to paste the content in another cell.

  3. Ctrl + X: Cut selected cells. Example: Select a cell or range of cells, press Ctrl + X, then paste the content elsewhere.

  4. Ctrl + Z: Undo the last action. Example: Revert the most recent change made to a cell or formatting.

  5. Ctrl + Y: Redo the last undone action. Example: Reapply a change that was previously undone using Ctrl + Z.

  6. Ctrl + S: Save the current workbook. Example: Press Ctrl + S to save your changes to the Excel file.

  7. Ctrl + P: Print the current sheet. Example: Quickly open the Print dialog to print the active worksheet.

  8. Ctrl + F: Find and replace content. Example: Use Ctrl + F to search for specific data and replace it with another value.

  9. Ctrl + H: Open the Find and Replace dialog. Example: Access the Find and Replace dialog to search and replace data throughout the worksheet.

  10. Ctrl + Home: Go to the beginning of the worksheet. Example: Quickly navigate to the top-left cell of the active sheet.

  11. Ctrl + End: Go to the last cell with data on the worksheet. Example: Jump to the last cell containing data in the active sheet.

  12. Ctrl + Arrow keys: Navigate to the edge of data regions. Example: Press Ctrl + Down Arrow to move to the last cell of a column with data.

  13. Ctrl + Page Up / Page Down: Switch between worksheet tabs. Example: Quickly move between different worksheets in the workbook.

  14. Ctrl + Spacebar: Select entire column of active cell. Example: Select the entire column where the active cell is located.

  15. Shift + Spacebar: Select entire row of active cell. Example: Select the entire row where the active cell is located.

  16. Alt + Enter: Start a new line within a cell. Example: Add a line break within a cell to enter multiple lines of text.
